a few good moves.

01

Spend your hours wisely

02

Compete for opportunities

There are only so many good openings and weekly offers. Pick your moment, change your route and make the city work for you.

03

Find your way back

A rough week isn’t the end of your story. Recovery work and a fresh plan keep you in the race.

Your table. Your rivalry.

Future Steam purchases will help fund online multiplayer infrastructure and further development. Everyone plays by the same rules, whichever edition they choose.

The Steam edition is not available yet.

A FRIENDLY HAND

New in town?

Rules, online safety and answers to common questions.

Why buy on Steam if the game is free?

The planned Steam edition will offer an optional way to support Pocket Drain and help fund online multiplayer infrastructure and further development. You can still play free in your browser or download a free desktop edition.

How do I win?

Meet every shared goal in wealth, joy, study and career after the week’s settlement. Players who qualify together share victory. At the round limit, your weakest goal progress is compared first, then your total progress.

Do I have to rush?

Your action hours are a resource, not a real-time clock. Local turns have no forced countdown. Take time to read the costs and choose your next move.

Who is Pip?

Pip is the mascot and your computer rival. Choose Friendly, Standard or Expert difficulty, with the same rules and starting resources at every level.

How do private games stay private?

Private games use expiring invitations and host approval. Share invitations only with people you know, keep codes out of public posts, and ask a trusted adult for help if something feels wrong.

Can strangers send me messages?

Public matchmaking has no chat, voice, direct messages or contact sharing. It uses generated public names. Public opponents cannot invite you into private rooms.

What about saves and currency?

The game saves automatically after committed moves. Optional save files are for portability and backup. Currency settings change how prices look, without changing their gameplay value.

Will every game change my City Rating?

No. City Rating reflects verified public Standard ranked games. Private, local, computer and handicap games won’t affect it.

What age is the game for?

Pocket Drain is designed for players aged 10 and above, with family-friendly content. Younger players should ask a parent or guardian for help with online play and support requests.
